How To | Shirts Tied Around the Waist

Being a kid from the 80´s, I still remember some of the 90´s fashion and the coolest one was definitely the button-down shirt tied around the waist.
Purpose? Style points. And that´s it. None other, really.

Some pointers on how to do it:
1. Tie it low around your hips.
2. An oversized shirt looks better.
3. Plaid is cool, but feel free to use other fabrics.

Oh, I think you noted that´s it´s (again) an unisex trend.

  2. I remember that in those times I wanted use this style on my outfit...I think that perhaps isn't so useful, visually make a game of texture and volume with other pieces very interesting, more if the shirt is in tartan fabric, you know something very punk. I would use but without many pieces, maybe a sweater, trouser and boots, because I think that the shirt could be used like a jacket and it would give utility. Great post!

  3. This trend was strong in the 1990s during my college years. It is associated with grunge and so much more. I was not a big follower of the trend; just an admirer of those who rocked it. I may just try it with the right laid-back outfit. Great post and fabulous pictures.

  4. Remember to pair the shirt as if you would actually wear with the look you've paired with. I hate when people just put a flannel/plaid on to just be on trend. Good post!

  6. I think that everything said was actually very logical.
But, consider this, what if you added a little content?
    I ain't saying your information isn't good.,
but suppose you added a headline that grabbed a person's attention?
I mean "How To | Shirts Tied Around the Waist" is a little vanilla.
You might glance at Yahoo's front page and see how they create post headlines to
get viewers interested. You might add a video or a pic or two to
grab readers excited about everything've written. Just my opinion, it might bring
your posts a little bit more interesting.
